PASSPORTS

Bruce Stanton's constituent offices are pleased to assist you with your application for a Canadian Passport or Renewal of your Canadian Passport

Constituent offices provide the following services

  1. Passport Applications can be picked up from our offices during regular office hours 9:00am - 4:30pm
  2. Passport Screening - checking your application to ensure it is filled out correctly and that you have all necessary supporting documentation
    Assistance with any questions you may have about filling out the application correctly
  3. You can drop off your application, supporting documentation, and payment at either of our offices and we will be pleased to send it off to Passport Canada for you.
  4. Answer any additional questions you may have regarding Passport Applications

Applications can be submitted Monday through Thursday. To guarantee your application is sent out in our weekly package we should have your application Thursdays by 4pm.


FOR PASSPORT RENEWAL: (current passport or expired less than 1 year from date of application - otherwise a full general application must be filled out - also available at our offices)

  • The applicant must present the current 5 year passport; or passport that is less than 12 months expired
  • Was never reported as lost or stolen or is damaged
  • The name on the application form is exactly the same name that appears on the submitted passport
  • The applicant was residing in Canada at the time the previous passport was issued and was issued in Canada
  • The applicant currently lives in Canada or resides in the USA


NEW GUARANTOR POLICY:

Under the new policy, the guarantor:

  • Must hold a five-year valid or less than one year expired adult Canadian passport
  • May be a family member
  • May reside at the same address as the applicant
  • Must have known the applicant for 2 years
  • Must be a Canadian citizen 18 years or older

Payment for Passports is only accepted in the form of money orders, certified cheques (addressed to the Receiver General for Canada), and credit cards. Unfortunately NO CASH, PERSONAL CHEQUES or DEBIT can be accepted.
